Follow up on a sent estimate
Most estimates are not declined, they are forgotten. Groundflag follows up for you, at 10 in the morning of your company's time zone, and stops the moment the client answers.
Send the estimate.
Sales, Estimates, open the estimate and send it. The follow-ups count from the day it was sent.
Leave the defaults, or change the days.
Settings, Notifications, Company notifications, then Estimate follow-ups to clients. Out of the box the client gets a reminder 3, 7 and 14 days after sending. Pick other days or switch the whole thing off. You need permission to edit the company to see this screen.
Watch it on the estimate.
The estimate shows how many follow-ups went out and the date of the next one.
Stop it for one estimate.
Tap Stop on that line when you talked to the client and do not want the e-mail. Resume brings it back.
When it stops by itself
The follow-ups end when the client accepts or declines, when you send a new version, and when the estimate expires. Two reminders never go out closer than two days apart.
What the client gets
A short e-mail with the link to the same estimate page, where they can review it and accept it. If you turned on Request changes, they can ask for edits there too.
Questions
Can I turn them off for the whole company?
Yes. Switch Estimate follow-ups to clients off on the same screen if you would rather write each one yourself.
Do invoices get reminders too?
Yes. Payment reminders to clients sit on the same screen: by default one day before the due date, then 3 and 7 days after.
