Text your clients
Clients answer a text faster than an email. With texts on, the same moment that sends the email also sends a short text with the link to approve, pay or sign.
Open Settings, SMS Notifications.
The owner or an admin does this once. Switch on Enable SMS Notifications.
Check the events.
The first time you switch texts on, the client texts come on with it: Quote sent to client and its follow-ups, Invoice sent to client, Payment confirmation and reminders, Contract sent for signing and its reminders, visit reminders. Each one keeps its own switch, and nothing is texted for an event that is off.
Make sure the client agreed to texts.
The client checks the text box in your client portal or on your online booking form, or you switch on Client agreed to texts on a service call. Clients without that agreement keep getting email only.
Send as usual.
Send the estimate, the invoice or the contract. The email goes out and the text follows with the link.
What each text carries
Estimate: the number, the total and the link to see and accept it. Invoice: the pay link to your portal. Contract: the link to sign it. Payment confirmation: the amount and the invoice it paid. Reminders about an estimate or a contract carry the same link.
Your own wording
Settings, SMS Notifications, SMS Templates lets you write each text in your words. If your text leaves out the link, Groundflag adds it at the end, so the client can always act from the text.
Opting out
Every text ends with Reply STOP to opt out. A client who replies STOP gets no more texts; email keeps working.
