A Housecall Pro alternative for jobs that outlast a service call.
Housecall Pro is strong at booking, dispatching and getting paid for home-service work. Groundflag keeps the estimate, the schedule, the field record, change orders and job costs on one construction project.

Where Housecall Pro is strong
On the pricing page read October 16, 2026, Basic lists online booking with payment, scheduling and dispatch, estimates and invoices, a price book, job costing and review tools. Essentials adds routes, flat-rate prices, checklists, photo reports, employee GPS and a QuickBooks Online import. MAX adds visual proposals, recurring service plans, route optimization and an open API, and the same page describes Zapier as part of MAX. The app is listed for iOS and Android, in English and Spanish, with offline viewing. The trial is 14 days and asks for no card.
Keep the construction job connected
Plan the work.
Use a Gantt schedule with task dependencies, then keep the daily log, crew time, photos and documents on the job.
See the job money.
Track budget, committed and actual costs by cost code, with purchase orders, subcontracts, estimates, invoices and change orders on the project.
Let the client act.
Clients can review and approve estimates, sign change orders, pay invoices or deposits, and exchange files in the Groundflag portal.
Bring the field along.
The foreman can dictate a daily log in English, Spanish or Portuguese; Groundflag drafts it for review and signature.
Read the price.
Every Groundflag plan is on the pricing page, every user included and month to month. Housecall Pro prices Basic, Essentials and MAX by how many users the plan includes, with an extra-user charge on MAX.
Know what is not there yet
Each company chooses what its public booking page takes: a request to review later, a scheduled assessment, or a direct job, with photos either way. Groundflag does not collect a card during that booking, and it does not offer homeowner financing or a recurring service-plan product. Housecall Pro lists those, plus same-day route optimization, employee GPS and offline viewing. Offline on the Groundflag apps is a February 2027 target. On iPhone, Groundflag runs as a web app for now; the native app is on Android. QuickBooks Online has production OAuth configured, and the first live customer sync is not verified. If your day is dispatching short service calls, Housecall Pro covers more of that flow today.
