Looking for a Contractor Foreman alternative?
Groundflag runs the same core of the job: daily logs, a Gantt schedule, change orders, time cards and all on the first plan, with job costing on Pro. Priced per company with every user included, month to month, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Where Contractor Foreman is strong
It is fair to start here. Contractor Foreman has one of the widest module lists for the money: safety meetings and OSHA forms, AIA billing, service tickets. Its reviews on Capterra average 4.5, and value for money is its best score. If you need AIA progress billing or service tickets today, Contractor Foreman has them and Groundflag does not yet (progress billing is our November 2026 target).
What its reviews keep asking for
We read and sorted 836 Contractor Foreman reviews on Capterra in October 2026. The most common complaints: modules missing or too shallow (27% of reviews), the learning curve (19%), the field app (16.5%) and a dated interface (14%). Among the one to three star reviews, 34% describe bugs or lost data and 31% are about support. One reviewer put the daily log this way: "It is a 4 step process to write a daily log."
How Groundflag answers that
The daily log in one breath.
Tap Tell the day and talk, in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Groundflag drafts the log from what you said; the foreman reads it and signs.
The whole crew in their own language.
Every screen is written in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Each person picks their own; the client gets documents in theirs.
One price, no seat math.
Crew is $149 a month for the whole company, every user included, with no contract and no implementation fee. Contractor Foreman caps users per plan: 8 on Plus, 15 on Pro.
The core on the first plan.
Daily logs, the Gantt schedule, change orders and time cards are on Crew. On Contractor Foreman they start at Plus.
What Groundflag does not do yet
No native iOS or Android app yet: Groundflag runs in the phone's browser, and the native apps that keep working with no signal are the February 2027 target. Progress billing with a schedule of values, retainage and lien waivers are the November 2026 target. Safety meetings and service tickets have no date yet. If one of those is the reason you would switch, wait for it, and write to us so we know.
